A voice of Hope, Redemption, and Resilience...

Meet Antonio Williams, a remarkable individual who has emerged as a beacon of hope and resilience for those who are unable to advocate for themselves. Having spent 14 years behind bars, Williams has discovered his purpose in life by mentoring other Black men and organizing them to assert their rights. His organization, TONE UP, aims to create a safe haven where individuals no longer have to make the difficult choice between fighting for their liberation and securing their economic well-being.

Antonio's journey is nothing short of inspiring. While incarcerated, he found solace in writing and contributed to The Spokesman Recorder, showcasing his talent for storytelling and shedding light on important issues. In 2018, his exceptional work was recognized by PEN America, earning him a prestigious award for his captivating short fiction. 


Now, Antonio is embarking on a new chapter, weaving his next dream. With unwavering determination, he seeks to inspire and assist others in their healing and rebuilding processes. Antonio envisions a future where people can rise above their past, find inner strength, and transform their lives.
